I enjoy making larger bowls ; I get a lot of satisfaction. Some of the mahogany-type woods can be a bit bland but this one has got some nice grain figure. For added interest I have added the sycamore dots for detail embellishment without detracting from the nature of the wood & the pleasant flowing form of the bowl

Full description
A hand-turned wooden bowl for fruit or as a centre-piece. Produced from a mahogany-type wood (it's difficult to be specific) embellished with inlaid "dots" of sycamore for added interest. The bowl measures approx 250mm diameter x 63mm high. The bowl has been sanded smooth & finished with several coats of paste wax for an easy-maintenance finish.
