I made the embroidery for this card in response to 100 years celebration of the suffragettes. I decided to make it into a card so that everyone could own a copy.

Fine art blank card. This card features a piece of my embroidery hoop art, which is stitched in the style of pop art.
It is brightly coloured, with colours of green, purple, white, pink and red to name just a few. It is an image of a woman with red hair, red lips, pink jumper. She is stitched within a polaroid frame, with Jackson Pollock style paint splatters around her.
This card is a love letter to women everywhere. I made it in response to the celebration of one hundred years since when got the vote. Celebrating the suffragettes.
It includes the suffrage colours surrounding the image, as if a polaroid was taken 100 years ago.
Send it to your friends, keep it for yourself.
The only approval we need is of ourselves, acceptance more than approval.
The card is printed on high quality card stock and comes with an envelope. For your convenience it is wrapped in cellophane so that it is protected in transit.
It measures 6in by 6in, 15cm by 15cm.
