Full description
This is a brand new, handmade, folding shopping bag. An essential in these recycling times! The cotton fabric has black newspaper print on a white background, with paragraphs on the rise of Punk music in Britain in the 1970’s. Interspersed with the text are Union Flags & yellow stars. It is partly reinforced inside using a red & white striped fabric. The bag has an edgy look & feel.
A buttoned flap on the side can be used to go over the top (between the straps) to button both sides together, but it is mainly for buttoning the bag in its folded state.
To fold, lay out the bag with the flap underneath & central. Fold both sides into the middle section. Roll up from the bottom, catching the handles in, where you can use the flap to secure by button. (It’s a lot simpler in real life than writing it down!)
Approx. dimensions:
Opened flat - Height 36cm (not including handles), Width 45cm.
When folded – Length 17cm, Width 8.5cm, Depth 4cm (varies depending how you fold it & how much you squash it!)
