I take the inspiration for my mushroom and toadstool range from nature, the variety of forms and colours of mushrooms and toadstools give me plenty of ideas. I love to use colours that are bright and vibrant to make the mushrooms stand out in the garden setting.

This unique, textured ceramic toadstool (or mushroom!) could be a real talking point and a highlight in your flower beds or pots or would make an unusual gift; it would be a really great gift for someone moving into a new home with a garden, or for a couple celebrating their 20th anniversary, which traditionally is marked by giving china or pottery.
The toadstool is hand-made by me in Wales. It is made from strong stoneware clay, glazed and kiln fired to a high temperature, which means that the toadstool is completely weather-proof, come rain or shine, so can be left out in the garden all year round.
The toadstool cap measures 15cm across and the stalk is 30cm long; the cap is decorated with shiny, variegated green and blue glaze which flows into the ridged surface texture; the stalk is glazed in a matt oatmeal colour.
