We have recently enjoyed some very hot sunny weather, which is not to be sniffed at in this part of the world, but not great for the garden. So unfortunately when the usual wet and windy summer returned my parched flowers didn’t fare too well and I ended up with a little carpet of petals scattered round my garden. But every cloud has a silver lining, so my poor damaged flowers were the inspiration for the scattered flowers design on the vases.
