Full description
This lovely painted bird measures 9.5cm high, 12.5cm long and 6cm wide. To make it I first modelled a shape then made a mould from it. I then cast it with white earthenware clay and fire it to 1060 degrees. After firing I paint it, cream on a 'Copenhagen blue' colour background, each feather mark is a single brush stroke, it is then varnished twice to protect the decoration.
