Full description
Fine layers of super soft merino wool laid over both sides of a silk chiffon base have been nuno felted to create this scarf, a process that causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The body of the scarf is made using natural grey (undyed) merino wool fibres with a striking poppy design added to one side prior to felting using coloured merino wool fibres. The reverse of the scarf is felted but left plain.
The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight. It is a long scarf measuring approximately 156cm x 33cm (61.5" x 13"), long enough to wrap around the neck for additional warmth if required.
An ideal 7th anniversary gift when wool is traditionally the gift of choice, or for any other occasion.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the nuno felting process and full washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
