Due to family commitments, Plum Porridge will be closed for the whole of December this year, which means that the last day I am able to accept orders in 2024 will be FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER.
I have LOTS of good strong fabric in my fabric cupboard and in an effort to get the doors to shut properly (and therefore room to buy more fabric), I'm making up a few basic tote bags to sell at £5. All well made and fully lined, the bags in this section are great value for money.

Full description
This basic tote bag is made entirely from reclaimed fabric. It came from a beautiful pair of Laura Ashley curtains which had faded in the sunlight. The fabric however, a dark red furnishing cotton, is still in great condition, so I have used the unfaded areas to make this bag. I have used the curtain lining to line it.
Measures approximately 31cm across and 34cm high.
This is a short handled version. The loop of each handle measures about 37cm, and they are about 3.5cm wide
