St Ives is famous for its remarkable light ...& it is, truly mesmerising. I've spent years witnessing persistently changing SeaScapes & Skies viewed from Porthminster in St Ives, Cornwall across the Celtic Sea.
This Print combines a collection of memorable Summer Sunsets which light up & saturate the coloured hulls of fishing boats moored in the bay, I love it when this happens & they contrast against a dramatically Cloud-darkened turquoise sea.
There are so many of these different visual dramas that I could replicate in ink...but here, I particularly love the peacefulness of these regular mid-summer evening vistas.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Original limited edition LinoCut Print of a sunset-lit fishing boat contrasting against a storm cloud-darkened sea, viewed from Porthminster, St Ives, Cornwall - 5 impressions using gorgeous letterpress inks on beautiful paper. The colours are richer than I can get the photos to show.
This image is printed from 5 linocut blocks, built, cut & Hand-printed by me using traditional methods. Each block is inked up by hand & then HandPulled (by me) on my old press - 5 impressions to achieve the final image.
Each print is numbered, titled & signed in pencil underneath the image in the traditional convention.
This Hand-pulled Limited Edition Print is an Original Artwork - not a digital reproduction

It's very hard to convey, in a photograph, the truly beautiful physical quality of the ink & vibrant colour on this gorgeously soft-to-touch paper!
Prints will vary slightly due to the nature of hand production making each unique & original
