Personalised wooden & copper treasure box which could be used as a keepsake or pet loss box.

This particular treasure box is painted in Miss Mustard seed’s milk paint, made from natural ingredients, with the design in ambers, rusts, moss greens and golds...the box is then edged with gold coloured metallic wax. The lid is lacquered for protection and a satin sheen.

The print on the lid has been created from a photograph of lichen on a boulder which I took in the Scottish Highlands, and through a developed process I transfer this to the copper sheet which is attached to the wooden lidded box. Personalised wording is then added on top of the design. (Please add your custom wording as a note to me during the ordering process. The box is made from Empress wood, which is quite a light weight wood but the copper sheet adds a little more weight, and the inside is lined with a printed black and white script paper; just right for a treasure box!

The irregular edge of the design on the lid is studded with tiny dots of metallic fabric paint, and the ornate corner protectors have been hammered into place using little brass nails.

This can be personalised with names, a phrase or even one of my sculpted reliefs from my other listings.
