Item details
I set myself a challenge to use some scrap fabrics from my “scrap orb of joy”. I used a Japanese technique, called boro, to combine the fabric layers and hold them in place. Boro is also traditionally used to reinforce or mend fabrics through layers and patches to add strength and longevity. It’s a really tactile piece and will improve with age, and will definitely spark conversation!
