Full description
I have made this square plate from hand-cut stripes of glass in shades of black, grey, cream, white and purples in both opaque and transparent glass with a pretty patterned square in coordinating colours at the centre. The striped pieces have been topped with a sheet of clear glass and then fired in the kiln to fuse them together. After cooling, the piece was then shaped by placing over a mould and re-firing.
The plate is 27cm square and has a maximum depth of approx 3.5cm and is food safe. Ideal as a fruit bowl or table centrepiece and would make a lovely gift for someone special, or why not just treat yourself.
Care of your plate: Handwashing and drying with a soft cloth is recommended.
Packing and delivery: I do not offer gift-wrapping, as I tend to over-pack for safe transit and will use plenty of bubble wrap and/or packing peanuts. Your plate will be despatched by Hermes tracked service and I will supply the tracking number upon despatch.
