Black Rutilated Tourmaline Quartz Tumblestone, a Beautiful and tactile Gemstone, made into Keyring with silvertone Findings. Could be used as a handbag charm.
The wonderful Black Rutilated Tourmaline Quartz tumblestone gemstone is gently polished, showing natural Splinters or rutilations of Black Tourmaline being shot through the translucent light grey quartz.
An unusual gemstone and particularly beautiful, set with a wide silver tone endcap, slightly rough in places, and round bail, curb chain and 2.5cm diameter split ring to make this item usable as a keyring or handbag charm.
It is a gently polished tumble stone, beautuful from all aspects, with a rounded, yet squared of free form shape.
The Black rutilated Tourmaline Quartz alone measures approx 24mms in total length, with a width across the widest point of approx 18mms and a depth of approx 14mms, the whole keyring measures approx 8.2cms in length.
I just adore black rutilated Tourmaline Quartz as a Gemstone always has such internal life. I know there are Rutliated gemstone and Tourmaline collectors out there, so this would make a wonderful gift for any Gemstone enthusiast. Gemstone Key rings, or handbag charms are a real joy to make and a pleasure to own.
As this item is a natural gemstone, it is not unbreakable, so not for robust use.
