Ornate abstract wirework Heart pendant with a carpet of Purple glass and crystal beads.
The first stage of making this lovely pendant is to create the heart using 1mm thick silver plated wire and shaping it around a mandrel. The wire is work hardened by gently hammering with a nylon tipped hammer.
The second stage is producing the lovely bed of purple beads, to make the heart into a three dimensional shape. This time its with a very fine .4mm wire, criss crossed in various directions and securely anchored.
The final stages are to make the bail, for the purple ribbon and organza to go through. The bail is a basket weave pattern, again using .4mm wire around 2 thicker 1mm wires. To complete the purple heart, I have produced an abstrant scrolling of various shapes, using round nosed pliars.
There are two beautiful layers of ribbon, one satin, one organza in a brighter purple, that compliment the tones of the heart. Secured with ribbon ends and a lobster clasp fastening.
I love the vibrant colours of this piece and it would be a real centre piece with any outfit. A great gift for a friend or relative, or simply a treat to yourself.
Measurements:-
Ribbon/organza necklace approx 21. This can be shortened or an extender clasp added upon your request at no additional charge.
Heart approx 1 3/4 inches long x 2 inches wide.

Comes packaged in gold tissue paper and organza bag.
