Cow Parsley - is a textile artwork by textile artist Heidi Meier.
The flower has been stitched onto a calico background and the stem and embroidered with a combination of hand and free motion embroidery, which is where you use a sewing machine needle like a pencil.
The floral artwork is framed in a quality white frame, with a double cream mount and a third white mount to ensure the raised embroidered flowers can be clearly viewed behind the glass.
The overall measurements of the frame are 11 inches by 13 inches (280mm by 330mm approx) and the embroidery aperture is 8 inches by 6 inches (200mm by150mm approx).
A lovely gift for anyone who loves flowers or floral art, and the cow parsley flower head shape in particular is a popular modern contemporary design. A perfect gift for mum on Mother's Day!
