Pheasant in the Grass is the title of this embroidered artwork by textile artist Heidi Meier.
The pheasant has been created over the course of many hours by using hand cut applique and free motion embroidery techniques. No software or computers are involved, this is simply using the sewing machine needle like a pencil and drawing freehand onto fabric. Some of the fabric has been hand dyed by Heidi giving this artwork further originality.
The pheasant sits amongst a swathe of moorland grasses, carefully walking along whilst in the background the misty heather hills can be seen.
A wonderful artwork to grace your wall and a stunning focal point for any room.
The artwork has been stretched and mounted with a cream conservation frame, signed on the reverse by the artist and framed in a quality solid oak frame.
The frame measures 450mm by 500mm and the embroidery aperture measures 300mm by 310mm.
The mount has the title of the artwork 'Pheasant in the grass by Heidi Meier' inserted, but this can be changed at no extra cost to a message of your choice eg 'Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary', To 'name' from 'name" etc etc.
