Stand out from the crowd with this striking hand felted shoulder or hand bag.

This bag has been made from a piece of felt, hand felted using natural grey woollen fibres. It has been shaped to give it a flat base and a plastic mesh added to the base between the lining and the outer to help maintain its shape. Along the top on one side, a row of curly woollen locks in dark brown with pale tips, have been added. A strip of golden patterned silk has been added to the top edge. The bag has a matching grey handle, long enough to comfortably slip over the shoulder but still short enough to carry in the hand if required. It has a light grey polycotton lining and a central magnetic clasp.
This handbag or shoulder bag measures 31cm (12.25") across the top tapering to 23cm (9") at the base. It stands 24cm (9.5") high and the base is 10cm (4") deep. The strap measures 60cm (24") in length. Note: all measurements are approximate.
