Full description
A gorgeous blue agate wire wrapped sword bookmark. It is created with real striped blue agate gemstones, antique bronze colour silver plated copper wire, a tassel, and the bronze colour sword is a zinc alloy. This bookmark is the perfect gift for those who love swords, fantasy or reading.
The bronze metal sword measures just under 4 inches (9.5 cm) long and 0.4 mm wide. The striped blue agate gemstone beads are 8 mm in diameter.
NB The end of the sword is slightly sharp due to the nature of the design. Please do not give to children.
Agate is a member of the quartz family and was discovered in 4 BC. It is made from silicon dioxide and often originates in cavities of molten rock. Agate has many mythical qualities. It is supposed to make the wearer more pleasant and agreeable. It is believed to quench thirst, protect against viruses and to cure insomnia.
The bookmark will be presented in an organza gift bag. It will be delivered via Royal Mail First Class Post.
