These cute chunky coasters are made from recycled scaffold board and have hand painted 'Beer' and 'Wine' in black acrylic. They are available finished in clear varnish or antique pine.

Measuring 8cm x 4cm x 8cm they make a unique and quirky gift for anniversaries or birthdays. They would also make great wedding favours for your wedding party.

As the coasters are made from recycled wood they have imperfections. We think these imperfections add character.

The inspiration for these coasters came when we were left with an off cut of scaffold board. We didn't know what to do with it so we cut it in half and found that the small pieces were pretty much the same size as a coaster.

We were limited by the size when it came to the amount of text we could hand paint onto them so we decided to look for pairs of things that might look good together on the coasters. Beer and Wine seemed to fit well so we looked for other drink combinations.

And, the drink inspired chunky coasters were born.
