After seeing the marvellous spectacle of a starling murmuration I decided to try to capture the pure magnificence of the movement. I felt a good way of doing this was to create a paper cut which mounted will cast a shadow to almost create the sensation of more birds in behind, adding movement and depth.

Full description
'Murmuration' is a paper cut carefully cut from one dark brown piece of paper.
It has been mounted in a box frame and backed with a light blue mount board so it casts shadows as the light catches the picture giving it a sense of movement.
This picture is sold mounted with a white mount and in a black wooden frame ready to hang. The picture comes with a signed certificate of authenticity
