Man made turquoise(reconstituted) is disclosed at the point of sale and not miss sold as genuine turquoise! Genuine turquoise is described as 'stabalised' and recognised by the GIA as a genuine gemstone mineral. It is considerably more expensive in all grades within the jewellery trade worldwide. Rule of thumb if its cheap it's not genuine turquoise, buyers please be aware.

The majority of all gemstones have had some form of treatment to enhance their appearance. For trusted infection the GIA provides a good educational list of treatments used within the jewellery industry worldwide on their website.

Gemstone beads used are carefully selected for their cut, colour, clarity, rarity and availability. Each gemstone piece of jewellery is therefore individually priced accordingly.

All gemstone strands are tested for their authenticity by qualified GIA gemstone gemologists by Demelza Designs gemstone suppliers. You are guaranteed to receive what is being described in item descriptions and not to receive fake imitation gemstone jewellery.

Demelza Designs prides itself to produce quality hand crafted jewellery for all budget ranges with each piece receiving the same attention to detail during its design and making processes.

All gemstones are purchased from a trusted British business registered with the NAJ. Their gemstone cutting houses are based in Jaipur, India.

Only high quality freshwater pearls including Baroque pearls are used based on their natural even lacra formation, shape and size. Pearl strands can be in the hundreds of pounds, so comparison to cheaper pearl jewellery should be carefully considered before purchasing as the quality will not be the same!

Earring findings are compliant with EN1811:201 standards including nickel free. Findings are purchased from trusted suppliers registered with the NAJ wherever possible.

Baby knitwear is designed and hand crafted by Demelza Designs in Cornwall meeting UK baby safety standards, Only branded premuim acylic, acrylic/natural fibre blends or pure natural fibre yarns are used in baby knitwear which conforms to BS984/76 standards.

All gemstones stipulated have been ethically sourced and tested by qualified GIA gemstone gemmologists by Demelza Designs gemstone supplier's based in the UK.

Eco Reclaimed coral is not taken from any living coral reef for the jewellery industry, it is collected from washed up coral from beaches making this item appealing to those whom wish to protect our world's natural eco system, whilst still having the luxury of wearing genuine treated coral jewellery.

The necklace is protected by copyright design including using different gemstones types and colours.

Stabalised turquoise is not the same as reconstituted turquoise Reconstituted turquoise is fine powder added with man made substances to be mass produced into beads. It is not recognised by the GIA as genuine turquoise. Most turquoise jewellery sold on craft jewellery websites is reconstituted. Demelza Designs declares at the point of offering items for sale if reconstituted turquoise has been used.

Full description

This stunning eye catching piece of jewellery has been designed and created in Cornwall using 7mm flat coin cut stabalised genuine turquoise gemstones, dyed bottle green freshwater culture pearls and dyed genuine coral. Between each turquise round are 3mm 925 sterling silver spacer beads to add a touch of sparkle, complimented with a sterling silver clasp. The finished length is 18 1/2" inches, ideal for everyday wear without it being intrusive during daily activities.

This item will appeal to the professional working lady whom appreciates unique genuine gemstone jewellery to wear on a dailybasis, or to gift a loved one something very special which if looked after will last a lifetime and to be passed down.
