Monique is a collectable mouse from my Ville Mice range. She is button jointed with pretty, vintage buttons and is 22cms tall. She wears an art deco style patterned dress and a hand knitted cabled jumper in the most delicate lavender Egyptian cotton yarn. Her felt hat is decorated with a hand made and hand coloured paper flower and she wears pretty, matching button-up boots. She has accessorised her outfit with a matching neck scarf.
Monique is the head teacher at the Ecole Maternelle in the Ville. She is strict but fair. She works along side her sister, Maude, but despite a close working relationship and sharing a tiny flat above the Patisserie, the sisters barely squeak to each other.
You see, once upon a time, not that long ago, the sisters were both engaged to two wonderful mousey men, both called Tony. Monique had her Tony and Maude had her Tony. All was well, until one day Monique came home early from work only to find Maude embracing her Tony. "That's my Tony", squeaked Monique. "No, this is MY Tony", Maude squeaked back. At that moment they realised that they were in love with the same Tony. Tony soon scarpered, but the siblings' relationship never recovered. Today they throw themselves into their work, treating the little mice of the Ecole Maternelle as if they were there own.
