Vintage charts from our own collection make up these covers. Nautical charts are hard wearing and splash proof, colourful and interesting. This book's cover has the island of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.
Soft covers with interior pockets to stash tickets, money, a compass, any manner of things that may be useful when out and about. Or for souvenirs: a menu, flyer or business card. The twine ties will hold it all together or the ties may be wrapped as a bookmark.
Long stitch binding is in marine whipping twine to continue the nautical theme and also for longevity and extra strength.
The 140 blank pages are of FSC certified, chlorine-free, 120gsm Fabriano paper that takes all pens, including ink pens, all drawing media and watercolour washes.
The A6 size and soft, strong covers are perfect for stuffing in a pocket, rucksack or fanny pack, or down the side of the armchair.
This is the ultimate gift for adventurers of all types: sailors, mariners, hikers, walkers, climbers, cross country drivers, gap year takers, anyone who wants to record their adventure and collect some souvenirs along the way.

Please note that these are vintage charts and have been used or stored aboard a boat. Some may even have calculations, position fixings or coffee cup stains.

I raid our extensive paper chart collection for my book binding as it's such fun to upcycle them for book covers. I do spend rather too much time poring over them and remembering the adventures we have had in many of these places. I hope you enjoy knowing that this book is already imbued with adventure and it's just waiting for someone else to take it to much greater heights.
