When I saw this chair - it shouted 'I am the Mad Hatter' at me and the way I visualised it should look as the Mad Hatter - was the way it has turned out to be so happy days. Hubby and me love making things that a little bit quirky and totally unique that will make you smile and feel good. I mean how can you not chuckle when you look at this armchair :)

This chair is both comfy, fun and practical and will make you smile when you look at it, as it thinks that it is the mad hatter.
Made so that each part of the chair is part of the mad hatters body/clothes. The chair has been completely recovered. The back rest is the hat in black fabric and red sash, at back label shows; sides and arms are his jacket in patchwork; the front is his waist coat (grey and black squares) and shirt (rose gold velvet) with huge multicolored bow. The seat is reversible so you can have it showing the hand-printed face or as a plain, copper seat. To sides a fob watch is sewn on, along with chains around edges of arms of sides of back rest. Peacock feathers have been hand-printed on faux leather and attached to sides of backrest to look as if they are on his hat.
This is an upcycled chair which is totally mad but if you sit in it - it is like you are having a huge hug.
