I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

Full description
These sterling silver cufflinks feature bezel set cabochons of pastel hued fordite. The cufflinks are roundish but I remembered to mirror match the fordite when I cut it, they are finished off with standard swivel fittings for ease of use. The fordite has wavey stripes in pastel hues of beige, white, teal and sage green, this colour palette is consistent with the colours of cadillacs in the late 50's/ early 60's so the idea gift for your Mad Man.
Confused why cufflinks would have the colour palette of vintage cadillacs? Well fordite is the name given to cured paint that built up as over spray in the old paint booths at car plants, when they were painting the cars the paint ended up on the rails it was sat on, a fresh layer being added with each car. As tastes in car colours changed so did the colours in fordite and by spending a bit of time on google I match up the fordite to colour charts. I cut and polish the material myself and you can see the slice of rough in the final photo (message me if you would like something matching the cufflinks to be made). There are a few tiny pits in the surface from air bubbles in the paint when it dried.
Measure approx 20mm across and 5mm deep (excluding back), fordite is light weight so these aren't heavy. My partner has desk tested his fordite cufflinks for several years and has yet to scratch them (they have even been through the wash but this is not recommended).
