This listing is for a PATTERN to make the pictured hat and not the actual item.
This cute alpaca themed hat was inspired by the popularity of my Woolly Sheep hat pattern. It has a ribbed welt and a stocking stitch body with a stranded colourwork alpaca repeat pattern encircling the lower section of the hat body. Beads are used for the alpacas’ eyes, although these are optional.
The pattern instructions are written for both knitting in the round using a circular needle with no seaming necessary or knitting flat on two needles with a seam at the back. The pattern is written in English.
The pattern includes sizes to suit: Child/Young Teen, Adult/Women, Large Adult/Men. The pictured hat is adult size.
To make the hat, along with this pattern, you will also need DK/Light Worsted weight yarn, Size 4mm/US 6 knitting needles, a tapestry needle, up to 26 black beads for the eyes and a crochet hook to add the beads.
