These delightful bunny rabbit coasters come as a pair. The rabbits (one sitting up, one crouched down) are hand-drawn, and then embossed - the details stamped out in 3D. The finished image is painted with a brown leather dye.

The coasters are treated with a thin polymer coating to provide some water resistance. We have tried a lot of different coatings over the years, and settled for this one as it provided some resistance, but didn't alter the surface of the leather - the coaster still looks, feels and smells like the leather that it is.

Over time we have found the coasters do pick up a few marks, particularly if a lot of hot liquid is left sitting under your mug(!). This is only natural, and better the coasters pick up the marks, than your lovely furniture. They will also darken with exposure to sunlight. This is a natural consequence of using undyed leather and we feel this gives them a well-used feel.

The coasters measure 10cm x 10cm (4inch x 4inch).

These coasters make a lovely gift, and I can gift wrap them free of change (using brown paper and raffia). If you would like them gift-wrapped please request this when you order them.

"Do you have anything with bunny rabbits on them?" someone once asked me at a craft fair. I didn't, but I thought - why not!?! So I drew some up on some scrap leather and liked the result. But they were a bit large to put on purses and key fobs (there's a limit to how small you can make the motif and still pick out enough detail so it's recognisable and has character), so I decided to make a pair of coasters instead.
