Item details

These two greeting cards have been created using the sgraffito technique. The two butterflies have been created by scratching gold ink to reveal the colour underneath and then attaching each to a square of handmade paper. The cards have been left blank inside for your own personal message and come with envelopes.

I wanted to try something a bit different so rather than produce a watercolour painting I have tried my hand at sgraffito. I love the detail I could get on the butterflies wings using this technique, may try some more!
