From my loft studio, I look out over my garden and have a bird's eye view of the tops of the trees. I was inspired to paint a series of common garden birds for a calendar I made for family and friends last Christmas.
I made twelve watercolour paintings and decided to make notecards from each of the birds. Hope you like them.

Full description
A square (148 mm x 148 mm) card featuring a watercolour painting of a Song Thrush. The bird was originally painted on Saunders Waterford paper, which gives a lovely soft texture to the image. The name and Latin name for the Song Thrush are given beside the painting.
This painting is part of a series of twelve UK garden birds I made for a calendar project last December. I loved trying to capture the character of each of the twelve birds I chose. The Song Thrush is a welcome sight in my garden every year.
The back of the card shows three colours taken from the painting.
The card is printed on quality 300 gsm card, with an easy to write on surface inside. A white laid envelope is provided.
Your card will be carefully packaged in a cello bag and posted to you in a sturdy board back envelope.
