This dinky hand bag is a satchel in miniature - made from real Italian leather, it's a lovely chocolate brown colour. It has a detachable shoulder strap which makes carrying the bag very flexible - you can either use it as a hand bag, or as a shoulder bag.

All stitching is hand-stitched, using traditional techniques. Edges are burnished to give a lovely smooth finish, and the whole bag has been polished with natural oils to bring out the sheen of the leather.

This bag is so miniature, it's tiny - please don't confuse it with a real life-size satchel! That said, it is amazing how much you can fit in it. You can just fit your phone in it (provided you don't have one of the big ones (my iPhone 6S fits neatly, but nothing bigger). I went on a night out with my phone, a cash card some money, lipstick, face powder, tissues and keys, and they all fitted in (just!). If you want something small, compact and stylish, then look no further.

Bag measures approximately 16cm x 15.5cm x 5.5cm (6.5 x 6.25 x 2.25 inches), including the handle. The strap is adjustable and measures approximately 152-162cm (60-64 inches).

I loved the idea of having a mini satchel - nothing too big - something I could take on a night out, or lunch with my friends. The first one I made didn't have the shoulder strap, and this proved to be a problem. I then made one as a custom order for someone, this time with a detachable shoulder strap, and I though "Aha - that is so much better!" So this led to the mini satchel with detachable shoulder strap :)
