I wanted to make some cards especially for Mother's Day so some mums can have a very unique card.

Full description
I specialise in creating handpainted greeting cards and watercolour paintings which are all original artwork and not prints. This card has been created especially for Mother's Day and depicts purple buddleia flowers with a bumblebee buzzing by. I use a range of watercolour techniques such as wet on wet, wax resist and splattering which are unique to my style of artwork. The painting has been mounted heart shaped handmade paper before attaching to a piece of lilac card. A small purple flower has been painted on the card and the word 'Mum' written at the bottom. The card comes with an envelope and has been left blank inside for your own personal message.
