I love painting lavender as it always reminds me of my grandad who used to pick handfuls of it and put in this pockets.

Full description
I specialise in creating handmade cards using my original watercolour paintings and not prints to create a card that is rather different. This card depicts purple lavender flowers in the foreground which become more impressionistic as they recede into the background. I use a range of watercolour techniques such as wet on wet, wax resist and splattering to create my unique style. The painting has been mounted in a window framed card so after use the painting can be easily removed and framed as an original piece of artwork. The card has been left blank inside for your own personal message and comes with an envelope.
