Full description
Red and dark blue enamels scattered on layers of clear enamel and yellow enamel then scrolled decorate this parrot shape. The blue shows as either blue-black or dark green depending on the light; the red over the yellow shades into orange, again depending on the light. In a sense this mirrors the way we perceive the bird's plumage in nature.
The parrot measures 55mm in length 15mm at its widest. It is slightly concave, which contributes to variances in the reflection of light. I have mounted it on a 45mm, silver plate, curb chain that fastens with a simple bolt ring.
Your parrot will be sent, boxed, as shown, by Royal Mail tracked 48.
