Full description
A beautiful wall hanging hand woven on a peg loom using merino wool fibres. On the green and grey background five hand felted poppies have been sewn with silk offcuts used for the stalks. Additional wool fibres have been added to create a grassy border. The grass and poppies give the wall hanging a three dimensional effect.
The wall hanging has been mounted onto a piece of wooden dowelling and metal eyes added to aid hanging. The cotton warp threads at the base of the hanging have been left long to form a fringe.
The main body of the wall hanging measures approximately 35cm x 25cm (13.8" x 10") with approximately 12cm (4.7") of fringing
A lovely piece of wall art that would compliment any decor.
