Set of 4 solid wood coasters.

Handmade using reclaimed pallet wood. Sanded then stained in light oak then varnished to protect from spillages.

For this product I only select wood that has a particularly beautiful grain pattern and only give a light coat of stain to retain the grain pattern.

These coasters measure 9.5 x 9.5 cm and 1.5cm thick.

All our products are handmade from reclaimed timber. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure… that’s certainly how we feel when we see so much “scrap” wood… that is only seen as “firewood”. There’s something very satisfying about creating beautiful bespoke pieces out of what someone else has deemed rubbish.

We mostly use pallet wood, the process of using this wood is much more time consuming than using materials bought from a timber yard. Every pallet has to be carefully dismantled, all nails removed. Then we heavily sand every plank to a smooth finish while still keeping the character of the original wood.
