I met Callum the capercaillie many years ago in the Scottish Highlands. He already had a reputation for attacking birdwatchers who got too close and one of my friends did exactly that and got pecked on the bum! Callum was a thrilling bird to see, sadly the capercaillie population in Scotland is again in decline and I wanted to bring these stunning birds to people's attention.

This capercaillie is claiming his territory from deep within the forest. He a stunning and formidable bird. This is one a limited edition of 45 hand-pressed Lino prints and forms part of my Scottish Wildlife prints collection. The printed area measures approximately 10cm x 15cm and comprises of four colours: silver grey, sienna brown, rubine red and black. It is printed on quality A4 cartridge paper and fits a standard size mount and frame. It will be sent carefully packaged, backed and faced with card and would make a great present for a bird or animal lover, perhaps someone with links to Scotland...
