When trying all sorts of things to encourage my son to wear a scarf, I came across a pattern for a dragon scarf. I immediately experimented with the pattern*, and came up with Draggle (a combination of dragon and cuddle). An instant success; the difficulty became taking the scarf off, not putting it on!
Unlike most scarves, there's less chance of pulling on Draggle and hurting your neck, which makes it safer for children. He is quite short, with wings, spikes, and a small, stuffed head. I also make 'Snaggle' (snake) and, more recently, Unicorn, and I'm sure I'll come up with more variations in the near future.

This soft pink unicorn scarf wraps herself around your child's neck, and tucks her tail under her neck, to keep it snug. She is made from a very soft merino wool, and is designed to distract from the chore of dressing for the cold, and encourage your child to wrap up warm. She has a colourful, rainbow mane.
Materials: 100% fine merino wool; the head is stuffed with 100% polyester stuffing.
Fastening: tuck her tail through the flap under her neck.
It is designed for children from 2 to 6 years old.
