Silver button necklace, textured with vintage lace and stitched with embroidery thread.
I have incorporated some vintage lace from my vintage & found collections into my stitched silver button designs... And the result is lovely!!
I imprinted the lace into silver sheet, and worked the silver to create the appearance of a button by doming and drilling 4 holes into the silver.
The button hangs from a 16" sterling silver trace chain. And is completed with a colourful cross stitch. A perfect gift for embroiderers, sewers, quilters...
The button measures 1cm in diameter, this is a nice dinky size.
