I originally wrote this tutorial for 'Beads and Beyond magazine'. I thought the idea could be expanded on, and become a good beginners tutorial for wire wrapping a bead.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Digital PDF tutorials cannot be refunded once they have been emailed to the purchaser.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This is a PDF tutorial on how to create a wire wrapped marble pendant. A design perfect for beginners to wire wrapping, the tutorial explains clearly with step by step photos and instructions. If cabochons are too daunting this is a great first design for encasing an item.
In this 8 page tutorial, that will be emailed to you after purchase, you will learn how to cage a marble with wire. Each step has clear photographs to help explain the techniques.
The design was created because I liked the idea of always knowing where my marbles are, and now you can too. This tutorial expands on a 1 page tutorial that was originally published in 'Beads and Beyond Magazine' in 2015. I have expanded the instructions considerably to 8 pages.
For this project you will need the following:
- 0.8 mm (20 ga) plated copper wire (your choice of colour)
- 0.4 mm (26 ga) plated copper wire (your choice of colour)
- A marble
- Flush Cutters
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Round Nose Pliers
- Masking Tape
NB This is for the PDF tutorial only, not a finished necklace.
I will e-mail the PDF of the tutorial within 48 hours of purchase to the email address that you provide.
