Full description
This is a beautiful peach moonstone dragon bookmark. It is created with real peach moonstone gemstones, silver plated copper wire, a tassel, and a metal dragon bookmark. A great gift for those who love dragons or fantasy reads.
The dragon bookmark measures nearly 5 inches (12.3 cm) long and the width where the dragon head curve is 1 inch (2.5 cm). The peach moonstones are 10 mm in diameter. The tassel is 6 cm long.
Moonstone is named after the shimmer (adularescence) in the gemstones. It is caused by 2 different Feldspar minerals that have different refractive indexes. Moonstone has been used in jewellery since Roman times, as they thought it was formed out of moonlight. Moonstone is a birthstone for June. It is said to balance yin and yang, emotions and bringing good fortune.
The bookmark will be presented in an organza gift bag. The bookmark will be posted via Royal Mail First Class post.
