I loved dress up dolls and making paper doll chains as a child.
Unlike the paper dollies I used to make, these girlies are very individual. They have their own sense of style and very different personalities!
I have created this piece using my favourite cotton prints in variety of bright and cheerful colours. Each doll has been lovingly brought to life, stitched in free hand machine embroidery with lots of lovely detail. The background is a neutral cream cotton canvas which lets the colours stand out.
The picture is mounted and framed in a white frame measuring 42.5 x 33cm. (Actual picture size 29 x 20cm)
This would make a special gift for a little girl, or maybe for someone who, like me loves a little bit of reminiscing!
