I love the history of vintage suitcases; battered and bruised, each one tells a story.
Being more than 40 years old, this suitcase is well travelled and has some light marks and scratches in keeping with its age.
These add to its vintage charm.

Full description
This is a quirky pet bed, suitable for cats or small sized dogs.
It is made from a vintage 1970s suitcase, relined and padded.
The internal measurements are:
48.5cm x 33cm, with a depth of 14 cm.
(19 inches x 13.inches x 5.5 inches)
The lining fabric is a medium weight cotton, with a flamingos design.
It is backed with a layer of cotton wadding, with a velvet ric rac edging to the base.
The large base cushion is made from a blue textured wool.
There is a deep envelope opening to the rear, which is the same fabric as the front.
This suitcase bed comes with two additional scatter cushions.
The flamingo cushion has a removeable cover for ease of washing.
The siver fish cushion has a fixed velvet cover.
Both the flamingo cushion cover and the blue wool cushion cover can be gently hand washed or specialist dry cleaned.
The fish cushion should be spot cleaned or dry cleaned only.
PLEASE NOTE:
As the lid has been gently padded on the inside it is now a decorative feature of the pet bed.
This means the suitcase can no longer be completely closed, as this would damage the decorative edging.
