Full description
A lovely part of Christmas for many is making and decorating a gingerbread cottage.
I thought I would recreate one in fabric and stitch for you to hang on your Christmas tree.
These little cottages have the charm of the iced biscuit variety. They are made from cotton fabric with applique roof, door and window. They have details just like swirly icing stitched in free hand machine embroidery and have an added bit of sparkle in the form of a glitter fabric star. Two tiny button flowers sit just under the window. They are finished with a polka dot ribbon ready for display.
Each gingerbread house has been designed and handmade by me in my home studio.
This hanging decoration is made from 100% cotton with cotton applique and glitter fabric star.
Measurements: 12 x 9cm. Hanging loop 7.5cm approx.
Please note this item is a decoration only and not suitable as a toy.
