This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Fairy Angel or rather a Fairyfly in my computer file, It is a cross between a butterfly and a fairy, not quite a fairy nor quite a butterfly.
I have made it in lovely shades of white glass so it is very pretty. SOme of the glass is iridescent and shimmers with pink tones.
The fairy angel has heart beads for feet and is holding a star wand. Her hair is curly, just to be quirky.
The suncatcher is 13cm high by 9cm wide.
This is intended to be a fun item and it looks really lovely hanging in the window where it catches the light.
I originally designed this for my step daughter in law and had lost my design but when I saw the one I made for her as a birthday present I decided I really needed to make another so it is now in my catalogue and this is the latest version..
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the curls.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th photo is of a pink one I made previously so you can see that each is different though to the same pattern,
I can make this in other colours if you prefer, please just ask.
