Full description
This gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf has been made using a nuno felting process. A blend of blue merino wool and bleached tussah silk fibres have been laid in a very fine layer over both sides of a dark blue silk chiffon base fabric and nuno felted. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it to create a new fabric. The scarf is felted on both sides.
Designed to drape around the neck, the resulting scarf is a short scarf measuring approximately 122cm x 36cm (48" x 13.8"). Cool in summer yet warm in winter it can be worn all year round. A perfect accessory for any outfit.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the nuno felting process and full washing instructions.
