Full description
Ceramic tiles have been created using beautiful forget me nots, a beautiful find of tiny blue flowers in the sprung and summer months. The tiles have been stained using oxides to give a natural rustic effect that preserves the imprint of the plant. The tiles have been fired to stoneware temperature.
Then mounted on irregular untouched pieces of vintage wood to give the pieces a warm platform that also compliments the tiles. The wood is not of perfect shape or structure and does have imperfections such as chips, sections that are missing and irregularities. These quirks add to the overall look and compliment the handmade pieces. They look great as small collections hung on a wall.
The pieces have a small hanging hook attached on the back of the wood. Each one of the set of 2 pieces of wood varies slightly in shape and size. However fit together wonderfully as a set.
Each wooden piece is approx 13x13cm and 12cmx5cm each slightly varying.
