Full description
Our mystical moon hare light-catcher is one of our latest designs. We have used the Tiffany copper foil method of stained glass making. Each piece of glass is cut by hand and individually shaped. The edges of the glass are wrapped in copper foil tape, which is burnished to the glass. The pieces of the glass are then soldered together using a fine raised solder bead. We have used a variety of colours and textures to create the landscape for our moon hare - including beautiful glue-chip glass with a lovely frosted effect, and brown streaky glass for the moon hare himself. He will look particularly good where he catches the light. The light catcher comes fitted with a 9cm chain and is ready to hang in position.
This is a unique hand-crafted gift for any occasion.
