I watched the field being ploughed whilst on holiday in Somerset and wanted to capture the image a painting.

Full description
The painting was inspired by a holiday in Somerset where a field of wheat was being harvested. Various watercolour techniques have been used such as wax resist, wet on wet and splattering to create an impressionistic picture. Poppies and cornflowers can be seen in the foreground which gradually fade away to reveal the harvested wheat field in the distance. The painting is an original and is a true representation of my style of work. The painting is signed, mounted and ready to frame. Dimensions are approximately 36cm x 45cm including mount.
