Some time ago I discovered that my perfect artistic medium is actually vintage postage stamps. Inspired by their history, character, and faded colours, this eclectic 'paintbox' has become something of an obsession. Every nuanced shade can be found if I root around for long enough, and every upcycled artwork 'rescues' another small collection of stamps from landfill (a lot of the stamps I use are slightly torn or creased, or just too common to be of interest to collectors).
When the light isn't good enough for collaging, I indulge in my other passion: notebook design. I genuinely love the neverending challenge to create the 'perfect' page layout.for notes and note-makers of all kinds.
This particular notebook has straightforward & functional ruled pages; but the page index & any year calendar printed on the inner covers offer that extra degree of flexibility in how you use it.

This notebook collage features genuine vintage postage stamps from around the world, dating from the turn of the century up to the 1970s (or thereabouts) including stamps from: Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Panama, Somalia, Spain, Switzerland, the United States.
Simply packaged in a plain cellophane packet your handy pocket-sized notebook has been stampified into something utterly unique. No-one else will ever own a notebook quite like yours!
The cover-collage of postage stamps is individually arranged & glued into place with an acid-free, xylene-free adhesive then coated with a matt sealant for extra protection. The cover is coated with a matt sealant for extra durability. The inner front is signed & dated.
Customised notebook with kraft cover, stapled binding, and grey fabric tape to reinforce spine.
