Many dogs are prone to stopper pad injury so we came up with these protectors more than 20 years ago and have sold thousands since. It's a low-cost but hardwearing solution.
Once a dog has had an injury, it can be prone to future problems so it's worth putting on the protectors to help to avoid this.
Many vets have recommended our Stopperz protectors over the years because they work!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Please note that we can't accept any returns that have clearly been used. It is your responsibility to return goods in new condition suitable for resale. Of course we know you need to try on paw protectors to check that they fit - but if the garment picks up any dog hairs, you need to remove these before posting back. If not, we will need to charge £5 cleaning fee. We hope you understand - but cleaning items takes time. Thanks for reading!

Our carpal pad protectors are just the thing for dogs prone to slicing/scraping their stopper pads and good protection for all dogs who play hard (chasing squirrels is a popular pastime for many) or excitable dogs who try to stop suddenly when running at 90 miles an hour!
Stopperz can save your pet a lot of distress/injury - and you could save on vet fees. If an injured pad becomes infected, the vet bill could well run into three figures.
The protectors are made in black leather but we have red too!
We make two sizes - small and large. We don't make medium since the small and large overlap slightly.
Around 7 in 10 dogs need small size - eg spaniels, terriers, collies etc. Some larger dogs - eg German Shepherd or large greyhounds take large. The best way to be sure is to measure around your dog's leg. Include the dog's stopper pad in your measurement.
If it's between 9 -14cms then choose small. From 15cms-18 cms choose large.
If your dog has very petite legs then we can make extra small for you and we can also make extra large if needed.
You will receive two protectors - to fit both front legs. There is no way currently to show size variations on Folksy so please use Note to Seller box at checkout to give the size and colour. It's also helpful to include the dog breed.
We send all orders by tracked delivery for peace of mind.
